ONSTREAM PIPELINE INSPECTION LTD.

Onstream Pipeline Inspection Ltd. was established in Calgary, Alberta in May 2005. Onstream set out with the goal to develop high resolution inline inspection equipment which would improve the services available to the Small Diameter Inline Inspection industry. Specifically to fill the need for low drag small diameter inspection tools which would improve inspection data quality through reduced tool surging and reduce inspection costs for support equipment to the client. To fill this need Onstream created the Onstream Inspection System; A single inspection system capable of collecting metal loss, inertial and geometry data in a single survey. An all inclusive report is produced providing the customer with a complete picture of the pipeline integrity.

The Onstream Inspection System has been designed using the latest technologies and high strength magnetic materials. With 3-D modelling and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) used during mechanical and magnetic circuit design and the advanced high density miniature circuit boards used to acquire and store the pipeline data. The Onstream System employs some of the most innovative designs in the industry.

The system is built around five main technologies:
